HOLY CHIC Fashion Week

Alright, I will admit I am not 100% fashion savy. I did not partake in the Fashion Week festivities (shame on me). What I do know is that I wear what I like, what makes me feel good about myself and I usually try to have fun with it. Being the youngest person in my office, I take advantage of the fact that no one else really knows what's in style for us fashionable young ladies and I sometimes wear what no one else could get away with. Hilarious.

I am however inspired by current trends, fellow bloggers and now Pinterest.

My new favourites are the HOLY CHIC and CHIC HAPPENS tees seen lately in NYC.

I personally like the HOLY CHIC version better, what about you?

Natalie Merrillyn shared this design in her post about her Street Style Faves From NYFW. It is available for sale for about $225.00 and when I saw that...all I could think was Holy Chic! When I finally stopped laughing, I thought this would be an awesome DIY designer tee.

I did find that Daria Burkova from All This Fashion made this one here.

The original has a hand embroidered beaded slogan so I can appreciate the details and the price tag.

I really would like to make one that is sharp enough so that is does in fact look chic. Wish me luck.

Linking up for my Current Crush and Loves on a Thursday.
