Alright lovely ladies...I have returned to the blogging world. After my trip to NYC and Connecticut, which was extended by the damaging effects of Hurricane Sandy, I did a lot of thinking and still have a lot to think about. I have a lot to be thankful for but at the same time I desperately feel I need a change in my life. Life is for living not just passing the time. That being said I do not know how involved my blogging will be for the next little while. I have to work on goals, self discovery and find/create happiness in living my life.
Speaking of living my life, I will be visiting the beautiful Niagara Falls for a mini girls weekend. Wine tours, dinner, gallons of rushing water, and maybe an equal amount of drinks...joking. Can't wait to relax and have fun!
Here's a shot of the falls from the last time I was there in 2009.
Make it a memorable weekend and remember, you have to make it fabulous!

While away visiting my boyfriend, I will be spending a day or two at the spa. This is well needed 'me' time that I actually never really plan for during regular life. While my boyfriend is working next week, I'll be refining my yoga 'skills', rejuvenating my body and spirit at the spa, taking walks in the park, window shopping and maybe some real shopping too.
Here is what I would like to encounter at the spa, and what you could create at home with a small space and the right atmosphere. Sami over at Poor & Pretty shared tips to relax and save money all at the same time. Wouldn't that feel good?
Enjoy some time for yourself and you'll feel beautiful inside and out.

I am preparing for a relaxing trip to Connecticut to visit my (long-distance) boyfriend, planning little days trips for the weekend, dinners and nights out. I am all too excited and as shallow or silly as it may sound, I just want to look perfect and fabulous the entire time, ha!
Check out some of my Style inspirations;
I will be maximizing the use of leggings and making outfits work for day & night.
What would be your perfect outfit?

There is nothing I like seeing more than a man, confident in himself and in his beliefs, proudly sporting pink.
This entire month the men, women and fans of the NFL are (another group) showing their support for the cause and raising awareness to the millions of fans who watch and cheer every week.
This proves another way these men can be role models.
And who wouldn't looove these hot pink gloves!?! It is getting cold out...
But, just like real life, it's not all fun and games. Only a fraction of the proceeds go towards Breast Cancer Research, so if you're looking to make more of a difference, there are many other ways to help.
For example, some of my favourite fellow bloggers posted about products you would typically purchase, like clothes, beauty products, etc. that share proceeds with Breast Cancer Research.
Niki @ The Glossy Blonde
Elle Sees
Heather @ Glitter and Gloss
Erin @ Shades of Gray and a Pinch of Pink
My favourite find was from Britt @ Yellow Umbrella who shared a link to www.thebreastcancersite.com
Through this site you can find gift ideas or everyday items for yourself and your home. Select 'green' items, fair trade items and global purchases to help women around the world. Proceeds help fund mammograms for women in need.
Whether you give a donation or simply give a hand, every bit counts.
Have a beautiful week and stay strong.

As temperatures drop, petals and leaves fall to the ground we must be reminded that new life will come. Embrace the beautiful cycle of life.
This weekend I will be celebrating my best friend's birthday, a gym social and a friend's baby shower.
Make it a memorable weekend, because memories last forever.

I am loving Taupe for either a soft neutral pairing or a beautiful colour all on its own. Wear it with blacks, browns, blues and a pop of silver or gold.
Can you see yourself in taupe? Already a fan, share your tips!

Alright, I never would have thought I'd get sooo addicted into Pinterest. I hadn't even heard of it until a few months ago but I am a sucker for pretty pictures, of anything so I was hooked immediately.
The other day I almost said farewell to Pinterest. Just after I pinned a few things onto my Eat - au naturel board, that entire board disappeared. So many ideas for meals and parties and all those gluten-free desserts...gone. Of all the boards that had to deleted, hahaha I'm still sounding pretty pathetic. But alas, I thought I would give Pinterest another try and lo and behold my board has miraculously been revived and so I will share with you some fabulous pins that you'd better get now before they're gone.
Pumpkin Vanilla Bean Creme Brulée
Curried Pumpkin and Coconut Soup
Grilled Sweet Potatoes with Rosemary Butter Sauce

And since I never got fruit roll-ups as a kid...
